Felt is made from sheep’s wool

using water, soap & friction.

Another method uses a needle

with special barbs to draw the

fibres together into a mass.

I work on ideas that take shape outside in the woods & fields, promoting awareness of

environmental issues & sharing

a love of the natural world.

Masks are used all over the world in theatre and rituals.

They confer a mysterious power on both the wearer & the watcher with their links to old folk tales and ancient rites.

They present an eloquent way to move people, tell stories and make connections.

My latest 'episode' in the woods concerned REWILDING - with the wolf, the bear and the lynx.
